Skyline’s Mobile Video (MV) solution combines a ruggedized PTZ camera with a versatile mobile communications hub to provide agencies real-time video and data for situational awareness anywhere that needs a camera. Skyline has developed a turnkey unit that is easy to install and maintain and is engineered to support a variety of use cases across any network architecture.

Ruggedized Solution
CAMERA
Skyline’s ruggedized camera is designed for mobile applications, such as military, fire, and police. Our camera is IP66 rated (dust-tight, watertight), weighs less than five pounds, and includes: 28x optical/12x digital zoom; built-in heater/defroster; digital image stabilization; wide dynamic range; and 360o pan/115o tilt with auto-flip.
COMMUNICATIONS HUB
Skyline’s MV solution is fully ruggedized, giving you confidence that even in the most extreme conditions, our MV will provide the visibility needed to support your mission.
- Each component of our MV is carefully selected and tested to withstand operational use and the elements (vibration, dust, dirt, moisture, extreme temperatures).
- Integrated power supply provides clean power (8-32 V, up to 14 amps) to camera(s), router, and other devices. Includes delayed start of camera when vehicle is first started, extending the life of the electronics.
- GPS-enabled unit allows agencies to easily track vehicles and associate video/data with specific locations.

Skyline’s communications hub and camera can be mounted separately virtually anywhere on a vehicle or other equipment. This design allows our MV to support a wide variety of use cases, including leveraging solar-powered units for remote monitoring where no power or communications are available. For years, the Baltimore Police Department has utilized our MV units to provide supplemental video monitoring of race day events and share video with local agencies to provide situational awareness.
